Low cost airline Ryanair has announced four new winter routes from Manchester Airport and increased flight frequencies on three others today.

The changes means that the airline will now fly to twenty three destinations from Manchester and in total will be providing two hundred and twenty six flights a week.

Passengers will find more frequent flights to Madrid , Riga and Rome as part of the new winter schedule which begins at the end of October.

To coincide with the announcement, the Company are releasing 100,000 seats on sale from £19.99 for travel in June and July, which are available for booking until midnight Thursday (1 May )
