Rochdale’s Sandbrook pub is gearing up to host a week of exciting activities to celebrate its first birthday with locals and regulars.
In honour of its birthday, which officially falls on Wednesday 24th August, the team at the Sandbrook are inviting guests to celebrate with them and is offering a Buy One Get One for £1 offer on all pizzas and selected burgers on the menu from Tuesday 30th August to 17th September.
But that’s not all; the entire week will be a celebration of the pub’s ongoing success, with a number of activities taking place to get everyone involved.
On Thursday 25th August the pub will be hosting a quiz night, welcoming locals to put their general knowledge to the test. Saturday 27th August will see the pub hosting a charity car wash in a bid to raise money for Springhill Hospice, followed by family-friendly activities on Bank Holiday Monday, including a bouncy castle, face painting and a birds of prey display.
Speaking of the pub’s milestone, general manager Jak Cilgram said: “We can’t believe how quickly the past year has gone, and we’re really pleased with how well the pub has done so far. Our great food offering and family-friendly atmosphere goes down really well with our guests, and we’re excited to invite everyone to celebrate our first birthday with us with some really spectacular and diverse activities.

The pub, located in Sandbrook Retail Park, officially opened its doors on 24th August 2015, and in its first year has sold over 175,000 meals and 65,000 pints of beer and cider to residents and visitors of Rochdale.
