Belle Vue Speedway have confirmed that Rentruck, and their refrigerated vehicle division Cool Running Rental, will continue their title sponsorship of the Aces and Colts for the 2018 season.

Established in 1924 as a haulage business servicing the cotton industry of Lancashire, JR Ashworth & Sons Limited has evolved into the high-quality hire company now known as Rentruck.

Over time, the company has undergone many changes to its structure but throughout these it has never lost sight of the personal touch it was born with and is still a family run business.

Managing Director Richard Cotton said: “From day one, we’ve been thoroughly impressed with the way that the management team, Adrian Smith in particular, have handled the speedway business.

“His professionalism, coupled with the owners’ vision for the club, made our negotiations incredibly easy and our decision to continue to support them in 2018 likewise was a complete no-brainer.

“Last year, we were treated with the utmost respect. Nothing was too much trouble and our experience from week to week was exceptional. I’m delighted to be involved once again.”

Belle Vue CEO Adrian Smith recently met with the company to finalise the contract and is delighted to have secured Rentruck’s support for a sixth consecutive season as the club’s title sponsor.

He said: “Speedway across the world relies on sponsorship like that of Rentruck’s to survive and we are very fortunate to have such a loyal and enthusiastic sponsor on board.

“Their passion and energy for this club, as well as the superb support that Rentruck provides to the wider speedway community is exactly what we need more of.

“I’m delighted that Richard has agreed to continue Rentruck’s invaluable commitment to us.

“Our Premiership team will hereby retain their name as the Belle Vue ‘Rentruck’ Aces and similarly our National League team will remain the Belle Vue ‘Cool Running’ Colts.”
