Property investment and development firm Realty Estates is launching its UX Manchester scheme, a 1,000-apartment project on the former Boddingtons Brewery site.
The mixed-used city centre scheme, located next to Manchester Arena and Victoria Station, will incorporate 80,000 sq ft of commercial units and 200,000 sq ft of office space.
Realty Estates’ CEO, Yousef Tishbi, said: “With Manchester City Centre exhibiting strong demand for both quality PRS and well-connected commercial premises, UX Manchester will provide an ideal home for ambitious businesses and the growing young professional community.

“The site brings a huge potential for a landmark PRS scheme, which will be centrally managed to redefine city centre living.“
He added: “Our vision is to provide shared on-site amenities, including a gym, high-quality socialising spaces and additional retail and leisure units.“

Deloitte Real Estate is serving as an advisor to Realty Estates on its UX Manchester project, with support from property consultants WHR and real estate services firm Savills.

Deloitte Real Estate partner Simon Bedford commented: “The former Boddingtons Brewery presents a significant development opportunity thanks to its strategic location within the growing city centre.

“The site sits within walking distance of Manchester City Centre’s thriving central business district, enabling potential residents to easily access employment locations.“

Simon continued: “Its proximity to Victoria and Piccadilly stations also means office occupiers will be able to draw upon a wide range of talent and skills, both from within Manchester and further afield through the excellent transport network.“
