Castlefield and Didsbury are, according to the Sunday Times, two of the best urban places to live for so high flyers in the country.

The paper, which is currently identifying the best places in the UK to live in, described Castlefield as

A rare green space in the city, the park now a hub for residents of the areas red brick warehouses converted to everything from studio flats to four bedroom town houses”

While Didsbury’s cosmopolitan feel, it’s mature trees, it’s architecture and community spirit are cited as some of the many reasons for locating there.

Meanwhile Salford Quays also makes the list as being a place for cultural vultures, it’s location being ideal for work life balance with the BBC sharing the space with the Lowry and the Inperial War museum.

Top of the list of urban locations, according to the paper is Mosely in Birmingham
