A nineteen year old man will appear in court this morning in Manchester charged with the murder of 25-year-old Matthew Shaw in Rochdale on Wednesday.

Nathan Bradbury of no fixed abode was arrested after police were called to a fight on Melrose Road on Wednesday evening.

Matthew was found with stab wounds and was taken to hospital where he died shortly afterwards.

An investigation was launched and enquiries remain ongoing say police.

An 18 year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed pending further enquiries.
