A motorcyclist has died and a women was injured this morning after an accident in Stretford this morning.
The accident happened at Barton Dock Road at the junction with Caledonia, when a silver Nissan Qashqai when it collided with a man on a blue Triumph motorcycle.
Police and Ambulance attended and a man in his twenties, who was on the motorcycle was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where he sadly died.
A woman in her thirties, who was in the Qashqai was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Sergeant Brian Orr from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “This is an absolutely tragic collision that has taken one man’s life”
