Top crime writer Sarah Ward will be visiting Greater Manchester this week to promote her latest novel in the gripping DC Childs crime series.

The critically acclaimed A Patient Fury, Sarah’s 3rd novel in a blossoming literary career, hit the shelves to rave reviews in early September 2017.

Sarah will be visiting Smithy Bridge Library on the afternoon of Tuesday, 26 September 2017, before heading to Alkrington Library later in the day, to talk about her work and sign copies of her books.

Tickets for both sessions are just £1, including refreshments, and are redeemable against the cost of a signed book.

Sarah’s debut novel was described as a ‘tense, well-told story of loss and family secrets, with her follow up hailed as ‘relentless in its grip’.

Sarah said: “I am delighted to be coming to Rochdale to promote my latest novel. Libraries have been absolutely fantastic in supporting my novels and I am looking forward to speaking to a new audience about my life, work and inspiration behind my crime series. It should be an inspiring day.”
