Manchester law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has received top rankings in the recently released 2018 Chambers and Partners legal directory.
The firm ranked in 33 practice areas across its regional offices, eight of which are top Band 1 rankings.
Clarke Willmott also received an impressive 60 recommendations for individual lawyers with 16 achieving a Band 1 rating including Manchester Partner and national head of intellectual property, Roy Crozier.
Chief Executive Stephen Rosser and Partner and head of the firm’s family team, Gareth Schofield, were named ‘Eminent Practitioner’ and ‘Star Individual’ respectively and the 2018 guide also highlighted eight notable associates and up and coming lawyers.

The Chambers and Partners guides have been ranking the best law firms and lawyers since 1990. Lawyers and law firms are ranked based on client testimonials and a dedicated research team.
The guide highlights the firm’s “professionalism, speed and expert knowledge” as well as its “efficient, amenable and approachable” attitude, noting that “they have the client’s interests at heart at all times.”
Clients also said Clarke Willmott lawyers are “very ethical, responsive and knowledgeable about complex conditions” and that they “offer a thorough, professional approach with fast, quality feedback on all issues of importance.”
The rankings come shortly after Clarke Willmott was recognised as a Top Tier Firm in the latest Legal 500 guide.
