Manchester-based video production agency Anattic has announced a new partnership with sports apparel company, Ellesse.

Anattic has worked with Ellesse to produce a series of documentaries profiling stars from the world of music and sport.

The first exclusive mini-documentary was for Ellesse Sport, charting boxer Liam Smith’s career, while two other mini-documentaries for Ellesse Heritage explored the successes of singer Nina Nesbitt and grime artist Not3s.

Following the success of the documentaries, Anattic also worked with Ellesse to help produce a unique concept named ‘Make it Music’ to champion new talent and present musicians, artists and singers to a brand new audience.

The series of live music videos act as a platform for some of the UK’s freshest talent to showcase their skills. The likes of BlackWaters, Kevin Garrett, Not3s and Nina Nesbitt have so far appeared in the fortnightly releases, with a mixture of original songs and covers of established artists such as Childish Gambino, Jamie T and Migos.

The series has already led to unprecedented growth on Ellesse’s YouTube channel with over 16 artists and 30 music videos resulting in a combined total of over half a million views. Following initial success, Ellesse has commissioned Anattic to develop the concept further throughout 2018.

Anattic founder James Copson, said: “We’re always looking to push the visual boundaries and develop new concepts in our work, and the ‘Make it Music’ series was a great opportunity to do just that.

“We’re looking forward to further exploring our unique style of visual storytelling with brand new concepts, as well as continuing our strong partnership with Ellesse.”

Matthew Page, who directed the project at Ellesse, said: “We’re thrilled to be continuing our highly successful relationship with Anattic throughout 2018.

“The ‘Make it Music’ series has been a huge success and we’re pleased to be able to showcase new and upcoming talent.”

The project is filmed in collaboration with the esteemed Metropolis Studios in London who record, master and mix the final audio.
