Police have released an E-fit after a man exposed himself in Levenshulme a week ago in front of a twenty year old women.

The incident happened around  7.30pm on Monday 9 October 2017, when the woman was walking on Matthews Lane and turned round to find a man following her. The man made an inappropriate comment and then then exposed himself, before fleeing.

Police have launched an investigation and released an E-fit of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

The woman is being offered specialist support at this time.

Police Sergeant Tracy Mortimer of GMP’s City of Manchester Team said: “People will be understandably concerned and I assure you that we have dedicated detectives working to catch the offender.

“Everyone has the right to go about their daily lives without fear of being followed and we will respond to any reports of sexual offences as a priority and you will be taken seriously and offered support.”
