A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a women’s body was found in a car in Swinton last night.
The women, believed to be in her 40s , was found in a car outside the address on Bolbury Crescent just before 11.00pm.
Detective Inspector Andrew Naismith of GMP’s Salford Division said: “The investigation is in its early stages and our thoughts are firmly with the victim’s family at this difficult time.
“We have a team of detectives working to piece together what has happened in the moments before the woman was found.
“While we have made one arrest, our enquiries remain ongoing.
“We would urge anybody with information about the incident to please get in touch.”
