Following a competitive first round of entries, the Walkabout inaugural lip-syncing
competition is gearing up for the semi-finals, taking place across the UK this 2nd March.
With 50 bars throughout the country all participating, a talented set of lip-syncers have been selected to head on down to Walkabout Manchester to strut their stuff with the hope ofmaking it to the final in Birmingham on the 9 th March.
All semi-finalists will be treated as VIPs, with a swanky night’s stay in a hotel along with limo transport to the bar for their performance.
If that’s not enough, all customers on the night will also be in the chance of winning a
coveted £50 bar tab – all they have to do is enter the bar, it’s that easy! For those lucky
enough to have ‘winner’ on the back of their entry wristband will be challenged to a dance-off to win!
An all-singing, all-dancing grand final will then take place at Popworld Birmingham, where a
no expense spared finish to the competition will be hosted. An expert panel of judges
including Captain Morgan himself, a Simon Cowell lookalike and Stonegate Pub Company’s
Helen Charlesworth will be on hand to crown the winner on the 9 th March, where the
champion will take the glory with the coveted cheque of £2,500.
