The MAD Ltd Group, the name behind some of the Northern Quarter’s most popular bars and restaurants including Hula, Walrus and Rosylee is bringing a brand new concept to the city, called Lazy Lizard.

Promising hedonistic fun, the new late night venue will bring an Ibizan beach-club style to the city, with a focus on a VIP experience and the carefree party vibe that is synonymous with the white isle.

The state of the art venue is set over two floors, with an overall capacity of 800 and includes a mezzanine level, which is dedicated to providing a VIP experience for up to 200, with luxury booths and table service.

Manchester interior designers, No Chintz, have designed the venue to be just like a ‘lazy lizard’ with an environment created that is perfect for basking in sun drenched corners, people watching and sipping back cool, refreshing cocktails. Impressive lighting features will give the feeling of the sun setting below, as the tone changes, the energy rises and DJs fill the air with the best in house music.

Opening Thursday to Saturday, bosses promise an exciting mix of local and Ibizan DJs, playing the very best in techno, deep and classic house music until 4am every weekend, plus Iconic Ibizan club nights will be brought in once per month.

Mark Andrew, managing director of MAD Ltd says, “This is the biggest site in the MAD portfolio, so very exciting for us and a concept we have been working on for a long time. Ibiza is all about crazy parties and carefree fun in beautiful places, which is what we are creating with Lazy Lizard. There’s nowhere else in the city you’ll be able to experience quality house music in a venue as cool as this, which has a faithful resemblance to a true Balearic club.”

Lazy Lizard will be located on Withy Grove, in the Printworks and is set to launch in true MAD-style with a huge launch party in November.
