A 50-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder in Rochdale yesterday has been released without charge
While police say they are no longer investigating the death of a woman in Alder Hey Rochdale.
A Home Office post-mortem examination took place and concluded that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
Detective Inspector Chris Mannion of GMP’s Rochdale Borough, said: “As our enquiries have continued, we have determined that there are no suspicious circumstances.
“My thoughts remain with her family at this challenging time and I’d like to thank the public for their patience as we have continued our enquiries.”
