A sixty six year old man injured after being hit by a car while crossing the road a month ago has died

The accident happened on Sunday evening 15th January, when a black BMW 5 series was travelling along Park Parade in Ashton Under Lyme and collided with a 66-year-old man who was crossing the road.

Emergency services attended and he was taken to hospital, but sadly died on Tuesday 14 February 2017.

Police Constable Phillip Turley of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “My thoughts are with the man’s family at this time and we are offering them the support of specially trained officers.
