February Half Term is here and entertaining the kids can sometimes be tricky. So why not head to The Great Northern, one of Manchester’s most diverse leisure destinations, and try a range of new activities as a family.

Afterwards head to Odeon to watch the new Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. Tickets for both adults and juniors are only £5 so you can treat the whole family to the big screen experience without breaking the bank. Watch as Emmet, voiced by Chris Pratt, and the citizens of Bricksburg restore harmony to the LEGO universe.
If you fancy something more energetic, try out the latest gaming experience at Virtual Hideout. The virtual reality gaming hub welcomes kids from as young as six to play its immersive games that range from sci-fi to escape rooms. Prices start from just £6 per person for a weekday slot.
Or if you have a competitive family, head to All Star Lanes. Try your best to get a strike in this cool, retro-style bowling alley for just £5.95 for kids, and £6.95 for adults.
