Levenshulme’s Christmas Markets will run every Saturday in December, on 1st, 8th and 15th December from 10-4pm on the Levenshulme station car park.

The celebrations finish with a Christmas Party Night Market on Friday 21st December, 5-9pm.

Each festive special will feature nearly 50 stalls of handmade, unique Christmas presents, as well as Manchester’s best street food, cakes and confectionary, fashion and more.

Browse jewellery, knitwear, Christmas wreaths, ceramics, candles, soaps and skincare, small-batch spirits, artwork, cards and more – all handmade by craftspeople from Manchester and the surrounding area.
Mulled wassail cider, smoking bishop and other hot tipples will be flowing from The Levy Market Bar.

As always, there’s plenty of delicious street food to tuck into, from the likes of Wholesome Junkies (as seen on BBC 2’s Million Pound Menu), The Ottomen, Samosa Shack, The German Sausage Co and many more.

There’s plenty of family-friendly entertainment too, with carolling from Chapel Street Primary School Choir, performances from The Madeley School of Dance and free Christmas craft sessions using waste materials, plus live music and Christmas competitions.

It all comes to a head on Friday 21st December, with an after-work Christmas Party featuring Beatific DJs, a dance floor, street food, two bars and the chance for last-minute Christmas shopping.

Market Manager Christine Felton says of this year’s Christmas celebrations in Levenshulme:
“We’re proud to say that our Christmas markets this year are better than ever – our independent stallholders are talented makers and crafters, but we’ve been absolutely blown away by the quality of the gifts and cards they’ve created this year. We’d love it if Christmas shoppers came out to support them!”

The full stall list for each week will be available on www.levymarket.com and on the market’s Facebook page.

After this spectacular finish to the year, Levenshulme Market will be taking its annual winter break – returning on Saturday 2nd March 2019 with a full list of Saturday and Friday night dates, along with more Tuesday lunchtime markets at The University of Manchester.
