From Tuesday 12 December to Sunday 17 December, guests will be entitled to free entry to the Tatton Park Gardens upon presentation of a paper or digital lottery ticket or scratchcard.

The offer, which is part of the wider Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) Thank You initiative, aims to thank lottery players for the money they’ve raised and increase awareness on how the money is spent. Tatton Park is one of 350 participating National Lottery funded visitor attractions across the UK.

Upon entry to the 50 acre Gardens, guests will be able to take a leisurely stroll through the Italian Gardens, marvel at the topiary, view the impressive Japanese garden and relax in the Glasshouses and pleasure areas.

Ros Kerslake, Chief Executive of the Heritage Lottery Fund, said:

“December is a wonderful time to experience the UK’s rich, diverse and exciting heritage, which has been transformed by more than £7bn of National Lottery funding since 1994.  This is a small gesture of thanks and a way of giving something back to the people who buy tickets.”

Carole Mullineux, Business Development Manager at Tatton Park said:

“The Heritage Lottery Fund have supported many vital projects at Tatton Park including ‘Field to Fork’ which launches in Spring 2018. It’s an exciting project which will bring the Farm’s heritage back to life through innovative demonstrations, soundscapes and interactive models. Taking part in the Thank You initiative gives us an opportunity to give something back to the lottery players who have helped make this possible. With the recent snowfall, our Gardens are looking particularly stunning this week so we hope that visitors will enjoy exploring our beautiful grounds.
