A third person will appear in court today charged over the Walkden house fire on Monday.

David Worrall aged 25 of Worsley Avenue, Worsley has been charged with four counts of murder, three counts of attempted murder and one count of arson with intent to endanger life.

Yesterday the little girl who was fighting for her life after being rescued from the house died in hospital.

The girl is believed to be 3-year-old Lia Pearson. Her brothers and sisters Demi Pearson, 14, Brandon Pearson, 8 and Lacie Pearson, 7 also sadly died in the fire.

The children’s mother is currently fighting for her life in hospital.

Yesterday,two people appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court in connection with the attack.

Zac Bolland aged 23 of Blackleach Drive, Worsley has been charged with three counts of murder, four counts of attempted murder and one count of arson with intent to endanger life.Courtney Brierley aged of Worsley Avenue, Worsley has also been charged with the same.

They were both remanded in custody and will appear at Manchester Crown Court today
