This Autumn, Flight Club, the world’s first ‘Social Darts’ venue, is coming to Manchester!
Launching in the heart of Manchester on King Street, the venue will be one of the largest in the UK. The new venue will include Flight Club’s feature bar, 14 oches (the darts playing area with its own seating and table service) and a private room for birthdays, special events and office team-building.
Flight Club opened their doors in 2015, and since then have risen to be a key player in the ‘experiential nightlife’ scene. They have been credited with taking the best bits of the sport and transforming it into an immense social experience for friends, family and colleagues to enjoy a night to remember.
Each oche will allow up to 12 people to play together with a tournament tech that can connect up to 150 players at once, patented dart tracking technology (designed specifically by Flight Club’s own astrophysicist), instant scoring, and a ‘slick’ user interface, reimagining matches into supercharged and exciting social experiences.
CEO, Steve Moore, who co-founded Flight Club alongside Paul Barham, said: “We’re on a mission to get the whole country playing Social Darts. We’ve been keen to become a part of the innovative Manchester nightlife scene since the beginning, and King Street will be our first location in the UK outside London.”
“We will be working with the people of Manchester to make sure that there is a little bit of the Manchester personality in our new venue and can’t wait to show everyone around.”
Guests can enjoy a selection of craft beers and cocktails, along side a seasonally inspired menu including a choice of light sharing plates and pizza paddles.
Flight Club has already proved popular at their other destinations in London and Chicago, and we expect their success will continue when they open in Manchester. Oches at Fight Clubs existing venues are regularly reserved up to three months in advance.
Bookings for Flight Clubs’s launch in Autumn open this Tuesday 10th July.
