Further to popular demand, acclaimed tapas restaurant El Gato Negro has extended its lunch time offering.

Fast-paced lifestyles have led to many in Manchester taking flexible lunches, breaking away from the usual 12 – 1pm dining session. In response, El Gato Negro’s award-winning tapas menu will now be available from 12pm – 5pmTuesday to Friday, allowing diners to enjoy the set lunch time dishes throughout the working day.

Guests can enjoy three options from the set menu, which features much-loved dishes including patatas bravas with spicy tomato fritada sauce and aioli, the salt cod croquetas with piquillo pepper puree and aioli, and chargrilled chicken thighs with lemon, garlic, shabu shabu dressing and fried chickpeas.

Priced at just £15 per person, it’s the perfect way to spend a working lunch, or clear your head by trying something new.

Located on Manchester’s historic King Street, the restaurant is set across three distinct floors and is renowned for simple, bold and confident dishes. One of the UK’s leading modern Spanish restaurants, El Gato Negro is the only restaurant in Manchester City Centre to have been awarded a 2018 Michelin Bib Gourmand.
