Police raided properties across Cheetham Hill, Crumpsall, Salford and Bacup.

As part of Operation Danube, 11 people were arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs. They all remain in custody.

GMP’s Chief Inspector Paul Walker, said: “Months of hard work have gone into this morning’s action, which was part of our ongoing investigation into tackling organised crime across Greater Manchester.

“I’d like to thank the public for their help in sharing intelligence. With this vital information, we’ve been able to work with partner agencies and ensure that people who supply drugs are brought to justice.
