In 1865 Lewis Carroll first published his novel ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ which captivated readers worldwide.
Over the years, there have been countless adaptations of Carroll’s famous story: films, television specials and theatrical productions.
Now in 2015, to mark the 150th anniversary of ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’, Attic Door Productions invites you to take a trip down the rabbit hole and journey into Wonderland as they present a brand-new promenade performance of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ coming to Rochdale Town Hall on selected dates in July and August.
“We are very excited to be bringing ‘Alice in Wonderland’ to Rochdale Town Hall”, director Ben Muir tells us, “Not only is this show the perfect way to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Alice’s trip down the rabbit hole, but it also marks the first time ever that Rochdale Town Hall has been opened to promenade theatre!”

Journey with Alice as she meets all your favourite characters in the Great Hall; watch the Queen of Hearts’ trial as you take a seat in the Council Chamber; and, join the Mad Hatter for a tea party of sandwiches and jelly in the Dining Room: this hour-long show is guaranteed fun for the whole family!

‘Alice in Wonderland’ is coming to Rochdale Town Hall on 29th & 30th July and 6th August at 1pm and 2.30pm.
