The Legolas’s Discovery Centre, at intu Trafford Centre Manchester, is set for an all-new renovation, with an investment of £1 million planned.

Launching thjs Spring, the new-look Discovery Centre will feature a new Lego Ninjago themed play feature, new floor-to-ceiling window café, a new bigger and better Creative Workshop where Lego fans can watch the Discovery CentreMaster Model Builder at work, a newly located Lego Racers Build & Test Zone and new Birthday Party rooms offering new experiences.

With over 4802 sq ft of the attraction being redeveloped into a more appealing and better offering for families and children, this major draw will open to visitors in April 2017.

This new, internal expansion includes a brand new Ninjago City Adventure play feature, where children can venture through physical courses or play at an interactive build table.

A new Creative Workshop will provide a bigger and brighter space for young guests to spend time with Discovery Centre Master Model Builder, Alex Bidolak. The Lego Racers Build & Test Zone will feature thousands of bricks for little (and big!) hands vehicles of all shapes and sizes.

There is also a new-look café, ‘Coffee Shop’ provides a retreat for those that want to take some time out while the children play where Menus are featured on digital screens and Lego artwork is displayed throughout. Visitors can enjoy fresh coffee, juices, frappes, sandwiches, wraps, cake and kid’s lunch boxes.

Lego Ninjago is so iconic for Legofans, we wanted to give our young visitors an immersive adventure, combined with fantastic play. This all new-build is the biggest investment, since launch and we can’t wait for families and children to enjoy it for themselves.”
