Spennymoor Town 5-0 Droylsden
Twenty one goals conceded in three games now as Dave Pace’s team continued their horrendous run with a five nil hammering at third placed Spennymoor Town.

Strikers Liam Henderson and Natham Fisher made the Bloods pay for some schoolboy defending with centre half Joe Tait scoring from a free header from a corner.
Droylsden made four changes from the team that let it eight at Brighouse a week ago. Lee O’Brien returning at centre half, Ged Murphy,Domaine Rouse and Luke Daly all coming in at the expense of Dominic Smith, Mike Pino and Ben Hampson.
The home side were quickly off the blocks, Shane Henry hitting the post and Liam Anderson beating the offside trap only to be denied by keeper Steve James, and Mark Anderson’s shot was deflected wide shortly after.

But Liam Fisher broke the deadlock for the Moors after thirteen minutes, easily breaking through the centre and rounding the keeper.

The same player made it two on the half hour mark again easily being put through the centre to score.
Before that the home side had hit the wood work two more times, Shane Henry a second time and Liam Henderson from the edge of the area clipping the cross bar.

The Bloods had their best chance of the game just before the second goal, skipper Domaine Rouse’s effort blocked to go behind for the corner.

Two nil at half time and the Bloods came out with more conviction in the second half. Brandon Zibaka’s effort well saved by Lowson in the Moors goal but a third goal after sixty seven minutes by Liam Henderson killed the game off, the striker’s shot finding the bottom corner of the net.

Joe Tait was given a free run into the area to head home unmarked fro a corner after seventy four minutes and Liam Henderson’s second completed a miserable night for the Bloods.
