At this year’s new Rochdale Food and Drink Festival, you can have a gourmet 4-course dinner cooked by one of the region’s best chefs and enjoy it in the company of the man himself.

Andrew Nutter will be cooking up a magical feast for the special ‘Food Glorious Food’ evening on Saturday, 24 March 2018 in the stunning surroundings of Rochdale Town Hall, the venue for the foodie festival on the same day.

The star chef and his team will be serving a special menu prepared exclusively for the evening featuring meat and vegetarian options. There’ll be a complimentary drink on arrival, live musical accompaniment and you’ll meet Andrew after the food has been served in the luxurious Clock Tower Dining Room.

Andrew Nutter has had an amazing career since coming runner-up in the National Junior Cook of the Year competition aged 13. 7 years later he launched ‘Nutters’ Restaurant, which soon expanded into its 18th century manor house in Norden.

Like all great chefs, he has a strong culture of using local and seasonal produce, with evening menus changing to make the most of them. He’s won multiple awards including Lancashire Chef of the Year, Restaurant of the Year and ‘Rochdale Man of the Year.’ In 2016 he opened his second site – gastropub ‘The Bird at Birtle.’

Andrew said:“I’m totally thrilled to be asked to be part of this magical festival, the team are already excited to be cooking at the Food Glorious Food dinner where we’ll be able to showcase some of Nutter’s signature dishes.”
