On Monday, Aldi’s Random Acts of Christmas tour paid a special visit to Central Manchester University Hospitals to say a festive thank you for all their hard work this year, especially over Christmas and the New Year.

Staff from the four Central Manchester Hospitals enjoyed a variety of delicious party foods and drinks from Aldi. The tour – that marks the end of an incredible year for Aldi, including celebrating 25 years of retailing in the UK and being crowned Which? Supermarket of the Year – celebrated the festive season and the great work undertaken by people such as the hospital staff in Manchester.

Jonathan Neale, Joint Managing Director of Corporate Buying at Aldi, said: “Christmas is a busy time for charities and emergency services across the UK. We want to show our appreciation for their hard work and ensure they get to indulge in some of Aldi’s finest festive treats.”

A spokesperson for Central Manchester University Hospitals said: “This was a lovely early Christmas treat for our staff which was much appreciated.”

From Aldi’s Christmas Tree Pretzels and Specially Selected Premium Party Food, through to Golden Topped Christmas Pudding and Specially Selected Exquisite Christmas Cake, staff tucked into a variety of Aldi’s most popular Christmas foods.

Along with the tour, Aldi is selecting charities and emergency services to receive Christmas Party Packs to help more hardworking support staff across the UK celebrate Christmas.

Jonathan Neale from Aldi, concluded: “Christmas is an important time to appreciate the things we have and to be thankful. It’s been a privilege to say thanks to people who spend their time helping others; not just at Christmas, but all year round.”
