The Village Screen pop up cinema is returning to one of Manchester’s most beautiful venues – Victoria Baths – on the 27th and 28th October for a stunning but spooky cinema experience over October Half Term.
They will be showing four films over two days – an afternoon screening of Hocus Pocus and an evening screening of Beetlejuice on Friday 27th October and an afternoon screening of The Addams Family and an evening screening of Hocus Pocus on Saturday 28th October. Afternoon screenings are suitable for the entire family whilst evening screenings are for adults-only.
They will be joined by DJ Matt Hydes, who will be spinning spooky tunes before each screening, as well as street food traders The Blue Caribou Canteen, Mac Daddies and Dim Sum Su plus the Village Screen bar will be open serving delicious Halloween-themed cocktails, beers by Thornbridge Brewery, prosecco, wines, soft and hot drinks.
Fancy dress is strongly encouraged and audiences can expect fantastic music, face painting, magical Halloween-theming and excellent films in comfort.
Tickets:
Pool level tickets, where audience members are seated on vintage deckchairs inside the pool, are priced at £15.00 for adults and £12.00 for children, students and seniors. Balcony level tickets, where audience members are seated on original wooden seats above the pool, are priced at £13.00 for adults and £10.00 for children, students and seniors. There are also family ticket options available for the afternoon screenings. Online booking fees apply.
