Let your dog take the lead at DogFest – the paw-fect day out for dog lovers this Saturday at Arley Hall, Cheshire.

Hosted by Channel 4’s Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick, DogFest is the ultimate summer festival that celebrates the unconditional love between dog owners and their four-legged friends!

The highlight of the event is undoubtedly the Great Dog Walk, which gives visitors the perfect opportunity to explore the beautiful grounds of Arley Hall.

Commenting on The Great Dog Walk, Nicole Cooper co-founder and show director of DogFest enthuses; “The Great Dog Walk is one of the most amazing experiences to take part in along with your dog. With thousands of dogs, owners, friends and family all coming together to celebrate, get fit and have fun in the beautiful surroundings of Loseley Park and Arley Hall.”

This year the charity 2/4km walk is in aid of The Humanimal Trust; the first charity in the UK set up specifically to champion the simultaneous advancement of animal and human healthcare. The trust promotes and supports the integration of new developments in veterinary and medical science and education, building closer working relationships between vets and doctors.

Speaking on the Humanimal Trust Noel Fitzpatrick says: “Animals have already given us all of these drugs and cures, but people didn’t realise that until relatively recently, so my mission in life is to take human medicine and animal medicine and reconverge them so that they both learn from each other. If human medicine didn’t listen to what is happening in veterinary medicine and if veterinary medicine didn’t learn from what’s happening in human medicine we would be much worse off and that’s why I have set up The Humanimal Trust.”
