A 46 year old man has been charged causing death by dangerous driving, drink driving, and driving while uninsured following the death of a man in Oldham.
Stephen Wilson 46, of Brideoak Street, Oldham was the driver of a blue Porsche Boxster which collided with a lamppost on Greenacres Road on Wednesday afternoon.
He fled the scene but was soon traced by police.
A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and sadly died.
Wilson appeared at Tameside Magistrates Court late yesterday afternoon where he was remanded to appear before Minshull Street Crown Court on 22 April.
