Collaboration has always been part of Manchester’s history, from Rolls and Royce to Alan Turing and the Computing Machine Laboratory.
Echoing this tradition, Circle Square, the city’s newest neighbourhood on Oxford Road, is proud to announce its partnership with the 11th edition of the Manchester Literature Festival.

To mark the event, Circle Square will create a pop up library where more than 400 books, signed by some of the authors, will be given away to literature lovers.

Circle Square, a joint venture by Bruntwood and Select Property Group (SGP), is at the heart of Corridor Manchester and located on the site of the former BBC building on Oxford Road.
The development, a connected and collaborative neighbourhood like no other, is surrounded by leading centres of knowledge, art, music and innovation.
The vision is to bring forward-thinking people and progressive businesses closer together in its office space, apartments, green spaces, shops, bars and restaurants — and through collaboration the neighbourhood will start creating its own stories. It will provide a hub for all kinds of people – laying the seeds for creativity – from artists and students to scientists and musicians.
Circle Square’s intention is to support and collaborate with key knowledge, arts, music and innovation initiatives and institutions within Manchester, so it seemed a natural choice to work in partnership with the Manchester Literature Festival.
In addition to the book giveaway, new bespoke designs promoting this year’s festival will be featured on site hoardings.

Cathy Bolton, Co-director of Manchester Literature Festival, said: “How exciting to be collaborating with Manchester’s newest neighbourhood as we celebrate our eleventh year.
The festival welcomes imaginative opportunities for people to enjoy and discover the best in contemporary writing, and the team at Circle Square have shared our vision to spread creativity and share works from talented new writers across the city.”
