An Festival of all that is Italian is heading for Manchester City Centre this weekend

Festa Italiana was born with the aim of celebrating the Italian style – especially its cuisine – and recreating the atmosphere, sites and smells of Italy across Manchester, one of the main city of the North West with a large Italian community and a strong cultural heritage.

The festival will take place in Cathedral Gardens on the
23rd – 25th June 2017 and the gardens will turn into a Piazza which will be the main outdoor heart of the action including everything from the best authentic Italian food producers, restaurants, events, masterclasses and demonstrations.

There will be delicious street food, a selection of bars to choose from including Italian beers and cocktails and live entertainment every day from traditional Italian bands.

Additional fringe events will take    place across the city during the festival creating an immersive city centre wide celebration that will represent all aspects of Manchester’s Italian food scene and heritage.
